Dinner in Barreiro

This time we are going to the far wild other side of the river – to Barreiro.
We will get there by boat from Terreiro do Paço (metro's blue line).It takes about 20 minutes to get there.
We will have a dinner and check some local bars around there. Then we will take the boat back to Lisbon. The last one departures from Barreiro at 1:30 am.

I will be in front of boat's ticket office with a blue cap.

Weekend in Tomar

Weekend in Tomar



Tomar in an old city founded by the Templars during the time of the Christian reconquer.
A city full of history which we are going to visit in meddle October.

19:00 – Meeting at Oriente metro/train's station; Going to by the train tickets.
19:53 – Train to Tomar;
21:50 – Arriving to Tomar;

10:00 – The foundation of Tomar [by the Templars]

12:30 – Lunch,
14:00 – Visiting Tomar Castle;
15:00 – Walk in the woods;
17:00 – Visiting Synagogue of Tomar;

10:00 – Canoeing along Nabão river (if there will be bad weather we will replace this by some other activity );
16:00 – Train to Lisboa;
18:00 – Arriving to Lisboa;
I will only book the canning. The accomodation you will book by yourself.
I am going to stay at 'Hostel 2300 Thomar' which is very central and well rated. But fell free to stay wherever you would like.

Visiting Theatre and Dance Museum

This time we are going to visit Theatre and Dance Museum.
The idea of creating in Lisbon a theatre museum comes since long time ago, however, only recently was possible to make it true.
The museum opened in 1985 and it has today around 300 000 pieces from the most diverse costumes. Lest go to see them and also get to know more about the evolution of arts in Portugal, specially along the last century.

The place as also a very beautiful garden behind which it worsted to visit.

We will meet at metro exit in street “Estrada Torre”, next to supermarket Europa, Lisbon at 10:30
