Riding tram 28
Cost: 1,5€
Date: 1/4/2017, 10:00 am
The tram 28 is one of the touristy icons of Lisbon. The one that appears in all paintings and is used by all tourists.
It goes through many small and narrow streets in the old town.
We are going to experience this ride from end-t-end; From its stating station, until the last one.
We are going to meet in exit of metro station Rato, walk for 20 minutes to Cemitério dos Prazeres and take the (empty) tram 28 from there.
We will arrive at the final stop around 11:45.
After the journey we can go for some drinks around the area.
In order to take the tram, you need to have your Lisbon Monthly Transportation Card, or your Zapping card charge with some money.
It is also possible to buy a ticket from the driver but that costs the double of the price.
It is possible to get/charge the Zapping card at the meeting point.
I will be in the western exist of the Rato [yellow line] wearing a red cap. It should be easy to find me.
Lets go to ride it!
